About us

AuratTech is Pakistan’s first nonprofit technology institute dedicated solely to women. We offer free tech upskilling courses, designed to equip women with the tools to build independent careers in the digital economy. The only requirement for participation is engagement in our community curriculum, fostering collective ownership and solidarity.

We believe that technology, when paired with education, is one of the most powerful equalizers of our time. By providing digital skills to underrepresented women, we aim to unlock opportunities, enhance livelihoods, and pave the way for stronger communities. AuratTech is committed to designing education that translates into real-world career pathways, entrepreneurial success, and sustainable empowerment.

Our Approach

At AuratTech, we provide free technology education to women from Saidpur Village, tailored to the realities of Pakistan’s job market. Our courses combine AI-integrated training in coding, e-commerce, and digital tools with essential life skills, such as financial literacy, mental health support, and counseling services.

Our programs are community-driven — designed with and for Saidpur women — incorporating first-aid training and self-defense classes to remove common learning barriers.

Participants earn certifications aligned with employer needs and also gain the knowledge to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, giving them ownership of their labor and financial independence.

We believe in creating lasting change — by nurturing local leaders, promoting safe spaces, and opening doors to careers that transform lives.

our story

Globally, women make up only 28% of the tech workforce. In Pakistan, female literacy rates stand at 52% compared to 72% for men. Nearly 39% of girls drop out before completing primary school.

AuratTech was born out of a commitment to close this gap. We blend inclusive education with future-focused skills to help women build meaningful careers. Our approach combines practical, research-based training with community support systems, ensuring women are not only skilled but empowered.

We recognize that societal structures often fail to support women — economic empowerment is essential to survival and dignity. At AuratTech, we work to change that.
